This volume is a Festschrift published to mark the 99th birthday of noted Supreme Court judge, Justice V. R. Krishna Iyer. It has articles on various aspects of Indian judiciary and law especially areas that engaged Justice Krishna Iyer’s attention. The articles highlight the personality and achievements of Justice Krishna Iyer especially his record as a judge of the Supreme Court. They touch upon a wide range of subjects from constitutionalism, the rule of law, domestic application of international human rights to issues of humanising the law, social justice and capital punishment.
