The book is an effort to develop a better understanding of the role and use of computers in teaching and learning. It discusses the history of computer use in education. Examining theorists and theoretical approaches and using a model of pedagogical approaches as basis for developing effective learning design plans, it deals with four types of computer pedagogy: behaviourist, cognitivist, constructivist and connectivist.
