The authors have taken special care to explain why a particular practice has been recommended so that even a beginner can follow the process. The book explains the importance of good and wholesome feed and how to prepare it from the various ingredients. Though the book lays stress on the maintenance and breeding of pheasants in tropical regions, it will be equally useful in temperate regions.
