Synopsis In this book the author tries to portray Islam as a religion of all the Prophets and a personal religion true to the nature of the mankind. The author also defines Islamic Society dispelling the notion that it was a closed society. His principal source is the Qur-an which to him is the textbook of Islam. His only other source of reference are the examples from the life led by the Prophet of Islam as depicted in different literature on Islam. The author asserts that Islam awakens in men and women the faculty of reason and exhorts them to use their intellect. He presents the facts and events in Islamic history by illustrating and creating images for the reader as if in a journey through history. Perhaps a similar journey evoked the following comment by the German playwright Goethe "If this be Islam, do we not all live in Islam.
