Synopsis SAROD symposia are an initiative from the aerospace industry of India, mainly ADA (Aeronautical Development Agency), to provide a platform to scientists, researchers and practising professionals to share their experiences and knowledge in the design of real aerospace vehicles. Apart from its popularity in India, SAROD is being well-accepted among the international scientific community. This proceedings of SAROD-2007—third in the series, includes contributions from leading researchers and aerodynamicists of all the major aerospace vehicle design programmes, currently pursued in India and abroad. A large spectrum of topics ranging from preliminary design to multidisciplinary design optimisation are covered through 9 invited papers, 30 contributed papers, and 15 poster presentations.
